The concept of Makoi is a new way to package sushi. Rather than a standard plastic box, Makoi packages sushi in a tube. The tube will use a similar mechanism as deodorant containers, allowing users to twist the bottom and dispense the sushi roll out of the top one piece at a time. The name Makoi is a combination of maki, a type of sushi and koi, since the container is designed to resemble koinobori.
